You might want to play some rounds at Escorpion Golf Club, located 1.1 mi (1.7 km) from central Betera. Hotels.com travelers also say the area is full of friendly people and has lots of nice beaches. It's also full of great shops and restaurants, so you can spend the afternoon having a wander. Betera has other activities you might want to enjoy such as Port of Valencia.

The pool isn’t really a pool but the roof area is nice. Well connected with bus stop outside the property. Would come here again."
"The room was clean and comfortable. Great aircon. Quiet. The bed was very comfy. It had a very useful fridge. Could have done with coffee/tea making facilities, conditioner and a better hairdryer. Very friendly staff and in a pretty good location. I might try and stay a little more central next time but this was the nicest option for the price. Solo traveller. "

However, it was closed at 2 days for a private party. They lied and said it was for maintenance reasons when we arrived. We would have appreciated more honesty.
