Swansea is a fantastic city full of old and new. Visit the new restaurants in the Marina and the ones in the centre. The museum is so interesting with lots of oddities and a real Egyptian mummy. Excellent indoor market. Grand Theatre is stunning.

Beaches absolutely stunning, with sometimes free blue badge parking and free toilets, always a plus point. On the negative side, the roads getting to and from the beaches are rutted with really bad dangerous pot holes.

The city itself could be a bit cleaner. Enjoyed the indoor market that had a vegan shop, vegan donut place and a tasty falafel stall. The beach is nice. You can travel easily to Mumbles and The Gower which has stunning beaches and walks.

It is a shame about the pot smokers and beggars, but it's still a lovely place to visit and I will return... Swansea garbage collection people need to do something about the terrible rubbish strewn all over the streets... Green Bins are NEEDED!

We did not visit the city centre, but would recommend the Botanic Gardens, Mumbles and Caswell Bay in the area. Currently a major restoration of the sea defences is being carried out in Mumbles, which caused disruption.

There is now a great restaurant not far from Morgans, The Shed. Very nice food in a nice setting and quite good value. For a funky cafe on the beach head for the Observatory.

The centre is a bit dilapidated but it appears there is an effort to rejuvenate the area. Got a beach as well

Construction work on promenade spoilt stay a bit. Will be great once finished
"Thus is a second visit. Staff are fantastic. We had lovely breakfasts with goodcquality bacon and sausage. There is a large carpark which is a huge asset as parking in Mumbles is always tricky. It is a charming hotel and I hope they never change it."
"The hotel staff were very good, the room clean & beds good. We had a good night with undisturbed sleep & a hearty breakfast. The hotel building is in need of some TLC though, threadbare/frayed stair carpets, the chair in our room needed reupholstering, paint work, woodwork & door frames particularly at suitcase height were bashed & chipped. The overall impression is good though - clean & pleasant smelling, but on closer inspection it is tired & needs refreshing."
"Easy to follow directions regarding checkin-check out. My room (2b) was large, with a big bed, and couch at the foot of the bed facing a TV and the floor to ceiling window. There was also a small dining table with two chairs. The bathroom was spacious with separate shower and bath. Everything worked and was clean. I think good value. The location was perfect, with walkable restaurants and bars close by. "
"Wasnt clear how to check in, but rung in the morning and was advised to call to pub for room card.
The room was very clean, and well presented. Can see they are looked after. Nice walk in shower with 2 separate heads.
Plenty of storage for clothes etc.
Bed was very comfortable and made for a great night sleep.
The food served at the Pen Y Cae was amazing and all the staff we encountered throughout our stay were helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much bother for them. "
