"Clean rooms, friendly staff refurbishment on going "

"Outside hot tub very cold. Pigeon poo before going down the stairs and had not been removed for days on end. Distressed elderly ladies who where members after 2nd false alarm in less than 2 weeks. Scottish lady on reception was informed by myself & Daughter. She was abrupt, uncaring and raised her voice... Not good. Thank you"

"Staff excellent, breakfast good, could have been a bit warmer, lovely grounds on a sunny day. Busy car park, its big so you might have a walk to the Hotel."

"It was dissapointing, more like a travelodge pretending to be a Country hotel. There was nothing executive about our executive double room. Breakfast was good but far from anything special i.e no baked goods, no cheese, plain yogurt only. Sadly not worth what we paid for it."

"The welcome was good. Booked parking and was told which bay was ours for the night. Executive room was huge, needing updating but clean. Bed was super hard pillows thin so didn't sleep too well. Informed the receptionist on check out but she only wished us a safe journey home. No mention of the poor sleep. The executive breakfast was superb, a mixture of continental and cooked. The gentleman looking after us really lovely and efficient, thank you. Can't comment on the bar as we didn't use it, but 2 coach parties were making use of itm "

"Tiny single room reminded me of student accommodation - bathroom better than the bedroom (& approx same size). Shabby carpet & stained wall. Cost £129 for one night room only mid week - overpriced & disappointing "
