Beautiful area to visit with stunning beaches. My prime reason was to visit the lifeboat station and see famiky names on it. Fish and chips from Frenchies was worth 30 mins in the que. You need to arrive early if you want to find a car park space.

We booked a trip from Morston Quay 4 miles along coast in advance of our trip to go & see seals. The Wells Crab house seafood restaurant was fully booked before arrival. Need to book early. We got fish & chips at French's. Cash needed,few cashpoints.

Wells Crab House restaurant worth a visit but please book ahead as often fully booked at weekends. 2 Magpies bakery good for a coffee and cake or hot sausage roll. Beach is a long walk away and if windy hard going but we enjoyed it.

"This is a very easy B&B to stay in and is very well located right on the seafront in Wells. Downstairs has a small lounge and dining area with tea and coffee facilities.
The room was a decent size and the bed very comfortable. Nice wet room with a light heated mirror so no problem with steaming up.
Definitely worth considering and we’re looking to returning again soon."
"The property is in a small village. Pub next door , but otherwise its a peaceful , quiet area. Wells next to sea is about a 5min drive away.
My room was nice, it had a kettle, iron,Ironing board, bathroom was clean and shower hot. The beds were good and the room was clean. There is some parking on site. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was also good. I really enjoyed my stay here."
"The Staff are wonderful. Our room was very nice. The only item we find difficult is the cost of breakfast (£18 each) but there are choices outside of the Hotel. Apart from that we always choose the Hotel and will continue to do so - in 4 weeks we'll be back."

"Super friendly, helpful staff who made us feel very welcome. Beautiful location. Dog friendly and convenient for walks from the hotel with access to Sheringham Park. The food was excellent, but not always consistent - I had sea bass on one day which was so delicious (and as described in the menu) that I decided to have it again on my last night, but it was no where near as good - missing the chives in the mash, the dill sauce on the fish and not served with peas all as described in the menu. I’m guessing it was a different chef on duty.
I was disappointed with a mix up/misunderstanding about my room - but I think that was because of Expedia, not the fault of the hotel. And the hotel did try to resolve it.
I will definitely return and will know which room to request next time!"
"Stayed in room 17 of the Lawns annexe, a few minutes walk from the hotel. Room was large, quiet with superking bed and nice walkin shower. Parking on site. Breakfast was good and all staff friendly and helpful. Fresh milk for tea always a nice touch
