"We stayed in a superior dockside room and it was exceptional. Very spacious, well appointed and spotlessly clean. The food selection at breakfast was great and the staff went above and beyond to provide a gluten free selection for my wife who has coeliacs. The hotel is located across the road from the Everton stadium. Prepay the £10 per day parking and you can come and go as often as you like. Only minor drawback was the £30 charge to use the pool area which put us off using it. "

"The hotel is lovely and clean, the staff are very friendly and nothing is too much for them. The hotel is a bit dated. The towel rail is never switched on, but it didn’t ruin the stay. The food is excellent and not too expensive. I would definitely stay again. "

"bedding and towels all very clean but the room it’s self needed a deep clean, dust everywhere, if you moved the bed the dust was thick, hadn’t been cleaned properly in a very long time. It’s as if they had taken loads of bookings and opened parts of the hotel that perhaps weren’t used on a regular basis"

"Lovely reception with welcoming staff. Rooms quiet, comfy and spacious. Really ideal location for all Liverpool has to offer, as well as a good agreement with the NCP carpark around the corner for discounted rates. Would definitely recommend 😊 "

"The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. Ideal to be close to the bars, shops and train station. The price I paid for a bank holiday weekend was fairly cheap for 2 nights. The rooms do need a revamp as they look outdated like rooms from the 80's but still is place to lay your head for the night. Maybe add an extra pillow too each bed"

"The entire building is surrounded by scaffolding at the moment. It is a much dated hotel with a lot of touch ups needed. But I can see the charm in it and it was certainly busy. It’s very central and directly opposite the pier. "

"Adam on reception is amazing and so helpful, Really went above and beyond to help us. Nice little touch to be given an Easter egg yesterday. Cocktails in the bar are really high quality and freshly made. Room was spotless and couldn’t fault anything, fluffy towels and fresh bedding x "

"Must have been given a room that dogs have stayed in as my eyes were itching within an hour of settling in to the room followed by sneezing fits. Woke up the next day, more sneezing and completely bunged up. My wife also mentioned she could smell urine in the room so wasn’t the most comfortable of stays. The room looked like it had just been redecorated and bathroom refurbed so no complaints there. Just think any hotel accommodating dogs need to consider customers who have allergies to pets to ensure they are given a pet free room. "
