The staff at Hotel Herceg is very attentive and always willing to assist you in any way possible. It's conveniently located just a few meters from the bus station (if needed) and has sufficient parking lots available. There are also 2 small supermarkets for any quick needs just in front and besides the hotel. The church is just 7 mins away. (I paced myself) ... and the breakfast is plenty and the memory foam on the beds was well worth it after a day long tour!
I loved the house, Marin was an excelent host, we felt right at home. Is very close to the blue cross and apparition hill, making it very convenient. Is nit far from St. James, is an easy walk.

After a rough start (nearly being denied check in and a room with no power) the staff exhibited some of the best customer service I have ever experienced in my life. They allowed us a very late check out, served us breakfast outside, gave us a free lunch in their restaurant, and a complimentary bottle of wine on check out. What could have been a real low point of our trip turned out to be one of the best hotel stays of my life. I will return to this part of Bosnia just to stay at this hotel...
This place wowed us. Seriously. The family that runs it is amazing! So friendly, so welcoming, and so nice. When we arrived, we were given homemade lemonade - what an awesome, personal touch :) The room was clean and wonderful. The wifi was great. And the location cannot be beat - as the other reviews have said, you're literally steps away from the old bridge and right in old town.
