"An amazing location directly on the beach with beautiful views and sunsets and sound of the crashing waves. We stayed in the two bedroom suite on the ground floor. This was a perfect for our multi-generational family with space and facilities for everyone. The beds were so comfortable and the daily cleaning staff were brilliant. The little things like flowers on the bed were a lovely touch. Breakfast was a stones throw from our room and practically on the beach. We didn’t even have to put shoes on! The breakfast was fresh and cooked to order so no chaotic buffet. We ate in Olin’s restaurant most days as it always exceeded anything else we tried locally. The staff at Suite Lanka were what made our trip so special. They were so friendly and helpful and always ready to assist in any way possible. The sunbeds were reserved just for hotel guests so there was no need to rush in the morning. The pool was a lovely place to cool off in the afternoon sun. We enjoyed Christmas Eve and New Years eve at Olin’s on the beach. The choir that performed Christmas Eve were wonderful, and the young children of the nativity simply adorable. New Year’s Eve was just as special. We were treated to a display of traditional dance and costume by local girls, and the lobster thermidor was to die for. The beach was alive with fireworks at midnight. Overall, Suite Lanka proved to be an unmatched tranquil paradise and the perfect remedy to busy London life."

"Our little family had an amazing stay at Riff. The beach is beautiful, rooms are good (the cleaning of the rooms is super!), food is delicious! You can hear the waves from the ocean which is so nice to fall asleep to. You can go see the turtles and Turtle beach (5 minute Tuk Tuk), and snorkling. The staff is incredible and our 7 month baby Charlie was so well taken care off (they even fixed food for her!). Special thank to Benischa and the gang in the restaurant, Charlie misses you already! "Lovely hotel and as always im Sri Lanka, great staff. Amazing location and views. Points to note. Dont pay for the higher floor option. Its not taken seriously by the hotel. We were put in the 2nd floor and told anything above ground was considered the higher floor collection. Cheeky. You cant swim in the sea from the hotel. Its all foilage and coral. Thats all said its right on the sea and is an incredible spot to spend time. "

"Pros: Great location with an amazing beachfront experience, a pretty good breakfast, and the staff let us hang out in the hotel area a few hours before our check-in. Cons: A bit old rooms, very cold inside with no possibility of making it warmer. We are from Ukraine, and the staff was trying to talk in Russian to us, literally the whole stay. We repeated several times that we don't speak Russian and we don't understand them, but they didn't care. "
