My booking was made last minute as a result of trip cancellations. It was easy as my wife made the booking online from the US. I was greeted by Zara in reception and she was very friendly and helped me obtain the map of the Wakapuaki cemetery where I was hoping to find my oldest brother who died when he was 11 months old. My wife and I stayed one night at the motel and thought it was great. Very stylish and clean. The bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of surfaces for us to spread out and also to eat food we had brought. We arrived much later than expected, but Harry was extremely welcoming anyway. I had sprained my ankle on a hike that afternoon, and Harry was so thoughtful and genuinely concerned about me. If we’re ever in Nelson again, we definitely will stay with him.
