Notable for its cathedral, Lecce features attractions such as Piazza del Duomo and Cathedral of Lecce. This historical city has something for everyone including sights like Roman Amphitheater and Piazza Sant'Oronzo.
Lecce was a very interesting historical town. We toured ancient churches, saw the Roman theatre, walked with locals in the passaggio, went to 2 Christmas markets and had great meals.

Lecce is a very nice city to stay and convenient to visit Gallipoli and Otranto, the perfect beaches as well, though it was past season.

The people of Leche are very friendly and kind. There are excellent cafés and restaurants to have some of the best food on the planet. You can also rent bikes there. I recommend Velo bike service for bike rentals.

Beautiful Old city charm, and a lot to see and appreciate. I really enjoyed it.
"Brilliant location, right in the centre. Very big rooms with high ceilings. The reception and valet team were amazing. The hotel is in a restricted car zone, and the hotel were great at helping with that and also parking the car. Super friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great family stay. "
"Without doubt one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The Palazzo is stunning and Alfonso, Francesca, Matteo and all the staff were incredible. Nothing was too much trouble and the attention to detail was exemplary. From the moment of arrival with a welcome cool towel and fresh juice to collecting our car from the car park and packing it for us, they made us feel very special and welcome. I was even given a delicious piece of still warm chocolate cake whilst sitting reading my book. Perfecto! The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable and everything to see and do is walkable from the hotel. We can’t recommend it highly enough. We loved every second of our stay there. "
"We had a wonderful stay at this charming bed and breakfast in Lecce. The location is absolutely perfect, just steps from the historic center and surrounded by excellent restaurants. What truly made the experience special was the outstanding hospitality of Serena and Paola. Their warmth and attention to detail were exceptional. The rooms were spotless, and breakfast each morning was a delight, with thoughtful options for allergies. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Puglia and looking for comfort, convenience, and heartfelt service."
"
This is not a Grand hotel in the sense of the Danieli or Excelsior, however, that is probably because they choose not to have a restaurant, even though they put out a sumptuous breakfast and have a commercial kitchen and plenty of staff. Our room had filthy old green carpeting, but we noticed in the long hallway that some rooms have modern wood flooring, which is much more sanitary I don't know why we weren't given the upgrade since we are hotel gold members. The only other issue was the parking which we tried to reserve well in advance, but was unavailable, which was disappointing since we have a brand new Mercedes-Benz . The staff was very pleasant and the bathroom was spacious and had the best shower of our trip. Overall, it was good value for the money and it's probably one of the better hotels in Lecce."
