"The onsens are amazing! The staffs are very friendly and welcoming. The town seems to be off the beaten path for most western tourists and is that much more authentic for it."

"Very good, comfortable hotel with very tasty breakfasts. Close to the center and local attractions. Coffee, tea, vending machines, microwave and Japanese bath were extra bonuses."

"I loved this hotel, it was perfect for solo traveller. Lovely breakfast, and the breakfast room turned into communal workspace during the day. I stayed one night in an ordinary room and one night in a capsule (they call it "cubic room") which was a first for me. Very pleasant, nice lounge, nice "room wear", lockable shower rooms. One the whole, very pleased. And location is brilliant, two minutes from the station. "

"A very unique experience. Will be excellent if the restaurant can serve some warm food, having a full length mirror inside the cottage will be nice, and a thicker body towel"

"I believe for being a Solo Traveler and just stand for one night, I can put up with a lot of minutiae, for the low price for the accommodation and the tremendous amount of food morning and evening with an exceptionally courteous and smiling reception staff and food caterers I would highly suggest people stay here and ignore the oldness and and some of the areas in the bathroom some mold because equality of the dinner and breakfast is beyond belief and it is free for a small room price!"

" Overall, it was about what you expect from the price or slightly expensive (but reasonable). The building is probably about 40 years old, and so the facility was deteriorating or run down, like cracks in the sink or stains on the wall.
The mains for electricity was not easy to use - all mains were inactive when one is not in the room, making it hard to charge portable devices.
Being equipped with public bath (with sauna) was nice, although it was also outdated.
