"Stayed here one night ready for an early flight. Convenient for car park 1 and departures. Lovely, modern hotel. Friendly and efficient staff. Nice room and fabulous shower with great toiletries. Great on-site bar restaurant. We had food and a few drinks. All good and not too over priced "

"I would definitely stay here again. It was a welcome retreat situated in a pretty village location. I was staying overnight on my own and didn't want to stay in one of the busy large chain hotels. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the pub was typically traditional. My only grumble was the walls were very thin, i had someone staying in the room above, and you could hear every footstep."

"Bancroft Hotel was a lovely place to stay, the bed was comfortable. The room was beautifully decorated to clean and tidy and had all the amenities you could think of available. Vikki was always on hand to help and pleasant to deal with. I stay two nights while attending a conference at the NEC Birmingham and cannot recommend enough the the short journey time but distance it gave me from the event."

"Lovely hotel that I have stayed at many times. Large rooms and bathrooms, only ever had breakfast but plenty choice, nice bar area, car parking onsite. Just across road from shopping centre, cinema, bars and restaurants. "

"Located in a nice Village with good amenities. Ideally situated for the NEC, 10 minutes away by car. Bar was quite vibrant with good range of drinks and food. Plenty of free parking. Did not opt for breakfast, so unable to comment. The rooms were functional and clean. However the decorations, furnishings and fittings look like they were done in around 1995, and left to fend for themselves. Overall, I thought for £60 a night it was good value for money. "

"Amazing place, friendly welcome e at reception by Lia, explained everything. Lovely comfortable and warm chalet and exceptional bar and restaurant with outdoor, covered outdoor and indoor seating. Lovely menu and food and drinks. A fab place to stay, highly recommend "
