"Hotel restaurant exceeded expectations and the massage at the spa was fantastic. However, we had an ant problem at one point in our bathroom and the front desk isn't 24 hour. Front desk could have been more helpful with giving recommendations and information (for example, one of their restaurant recs was closed on Sundays and they didn't tell us that). The noise from the bar next door was extremely loud until 10pm each day. Pool and hot tub were nice. It was great to have someone come meet us at the dock and get our luggage upon arrival to San Marcos."

"Nice place with a nice view close enough to the night life yet far enough (8 minutes walks) to the center of the party zone at night! Owner was really cool (Of course, he was also a Crespo) and So was Karen! "

"The complex was extremely well kept and the room was clean and comfortable. The complex was quite difficult to find even with the provided instructions, we only found it because a local showed us the route. The area has a lot of construction so it is quite loud during the day. The balcony was not used as we had hoped because the drilling was constant all day. Also it would be nice if the balcony had seating. The staff are very quick to respond which was helpful because the toilet did not work when we first arrived. Otherwise it was in a very central location in town and is a beautiful tropical oasis."

"Very noisy rooms on the first floor near the pool. Noise from restrooms, restaurant, and pool area. Non-guests can buy day passes, making it crowded during the day. Pool not very clean."

"This place is an absolute dream come true. The service is excellent and the view is out of this world. The owners are very special people, they make you feel at home and spoil you with delicious breakfast, homemade dinners every night and fresh pretzels. Gaby and her husband are extraordinary people. I HIGHLY recommend this place. I give it 10 stars."
