The people working at the hotel are very nice, but they are clearly short on staff and that has an impact in the speed it takes to get served on food and drinks. Contemplating that this a hotel that has no nearby restaurants, and they expect to purchase everything from them, this is an area they need to improve a lot to make it worth it to return. "

Staff laughed at my son who wanted to do the zipline because he couldn’t understand them and for adults to make fun of a child is the reason they got a low rating. Property is huge and great for kids. Lemurs, tiger, petting zoo, ziplining, bike riding, archery, etc it will keep you busy! Lastly, if you’re a person of color you’ll experience some racism from locals and staff in Amecameca. Stay in tourists areas if you don’t want to see how locals live. It’s about an hour away from major airport anyway and the driving in Mexico is lawless.the women at front desk were helpful and spoke English and overall a good stay for the kids and they do keep the property and pools clean! "
