The climate here can't be beat. The Secretary of Tourism has made an effort to encourage tourism, and it shows. El Palacio de Cortés renovation was well done, and is worth a visit. Very enjoyable events in La Plaza de Armas and El Centro Cultural.

We lived there for nine years about twenty years ago. much more crowded now & traffic much more dense. There are an excellent options for dining and we recommend an Italian place Marco Polo, along with Vivaldi and the hotel restaurant.
