"Very nice heated pool. Hotel was nice. Be aware that it is not within walking distance of restaurants or bars. But Ubers are easy. If you want a city view be sure to get a room on the east side. On the west side, get a room overlooking the pool, not a parking garage which is at the south end. We were hoping to visit the Black Swan club in the hotel, but it was closed for a special occasion. Bar and restaurant are OK but nothing to write home about"

"This was our first time at Granduca-Houston, our history with the brand dates back to the opening of Granduca-Austin and countless stays over the years. Granduca-Houston did not disappoint. It was luxurious, but not trashy/gaudy, as some Houston hotels in the area tend to be, quiet, staffed with good people and loaded with useful amenities. We travel to Houston frequently and the Granduca will be a welcomed respite while in town."
