Nelson is a really nice laid back town with lots of eateries, coffee shops and plenty of things to do and see. Don't miss the quaint cottages in South St, just behind Palazzo.

Excellent
Friendly town with plentiful dining options downtown and a truly superb beach. And the sun shines well over 300 days a year

We only had a day to explore Nelson, but we did a lot. We visited a great cafe for breakfast, went to the beach and had an excellent lunch at a winery close to Nelson.

Not much to see around city centre but lots of parks to walk around. Best to have a car and go outside town for sightseeing.

Nice town, very chill. Bums on walkway by the river with personal speaker was annoying. Would not visit again, seen it once, no need to go back.

We went for a dance comp. Weather made travel tricky, but the location, food and views made up for it :)
"The Sails Nelson was absolutely amazing. Not only is the location central and within a quick walk to local cafes, restaurants, and the city centre; but the staff are super friendly, accomodating, and helpful. If I could give the Sails Nelson more then 5 stars, I most definitely would!"
"As a return guest, it was so comforting to see that nothing of the high standards had diminished since my last stay a few years ago. The best and most comfortable bed and lovely courteous and kind staff. Absolutely the best in Nelson. "
"Lovely friendly staff. Perfect location to town, only a 2 minute walk over the bridge to town. Easy route from the airport. Breakfast at the restaurant was good. Will definitely stay here again. "
"Quest hotels are always good, but Nelson is incredible, freshly renovated, central to shopping and dining, easy parking. Great for travelling with babies, the rooms are so quiet and dark and the portacot was assembled in our room on arrival
Nothing is an issue for the friendly team.
Amazing experience "
