The owner greeted us and was so nice and accommodating. The location is fabulous! A perfect place to get to the fishing spots. The people staying there all appeared to be fishing as well- all very nice people. The ice machine was great and close by, and the breakfast, although not much variety, was a good start to the day, especially the coffee. The shower water pressure is the only thing that could be improved for the stay. Everything else was great for a fishing weekend. This is very simple accommodation, but all that is needed for fishing.

This property was perfect for a short fishing trip. They had room to park the boat and truck. It was very clean and affordable. They cleaned, made the beds, and put new towels in everyday. There was an ice machine for ice chests. Free WiFi and small breakfast in the morning. I’m a coffee drinker so it was nice to go get coffee every morning before heading out to fish.

Stayed at a newly renovated room at American Inn and Suites in Port O' Connor. Everything was clean and comfortable. Check-in at the front desk was a breeze, and manager Sam Patel was exceedingly gracious, providing great customer service, even calling to let me know I had left something in the room after check-out. Will be returning!

First let me say this hotel is in a great location to everything in Port O’Connor. You can walk to the nearest boat ramp and the hotels parking lot has electrical outlets to charge the batteries on your boat. But… I have stayed at this hotel three times in the last three years and it seems to be getting in worse shape while the price goes up. We could never get our water above luke warm, the bathroom door wouldn’t stay closed, the main door was sagging and couldn’t latch the lock, the door would only open half way and then hit the bed so we had to shuffle in and out lol. I used to look the other way on these things when the price was half as much as it is now but I can’t recommend spending this much money on a room like that.
