Hard to find in the darkness

The hotel was hard to find in the dark of night. Also hard to find because of the closure of the motorway and other streets, which we cannot blame on the hotel. It is out in the countryside, with no street lights. No reception but a key box. No open restaurant, so no food available. If the hotel had warned us, we might have been able to order a sandwich or salad and a beerwhich could have been placed in the fridge in the room, and of course paid for it, but this was not an option. The breakfast next mornig was fine with self service. All in all ok for the price, but not great!

Beskidt men fine senge

Værelset var beskidt, spindelvæv i hjørner og ved vinduer. Der manglede gardin i stor loftvindue mod øst, så vi måtte hænge vores håndklæder op for at holde morgensolen ude. Sengene var fine og familieværelset stort og lyst.

Die Ausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber und ausreichend. Einchecken per Telefon und Schlüsselkasten, Coronakonform,TOP. Personal freundlich und nett. Lage ist ruhig!

Excellent room, especially value wise. Only issues involve..... 1. the breakfast, which we paid for, ended at 0830. This is very early and although the manager offered to do something for us which I declined, I believe that they should fall into line with the vast majority of hotels that end breakfast later than 0830! 2. WiFi was not fantastic with speed and connection issues on all of our phones, both Android and iPhone. If you need the WiFi for work, then this is not the hotel for you. 3. There are no restaurants within walking distance and if you are travelling in the area, please note that on Mondays, most are closed. Also please be aware that you need to ring them before you come to check in and arrange for a pin number to get the key from the box. Just turning up unannounced will not work that well. Apart from these small issues, the room was large and comfortable and reasonably well appointed. Very good value for money. Christakis
