The hotel was wonderful. The only problem I didn't like was that you couldn't swim at the beach cause it's all rocks so we had to go to another beach.

Great facilities and good peaceful location. Reception staff severely lack an understanding to service customers, poor english and lack of inititive to offer options for tours and transport to local areas. When i enterted the beach, I cut my feet and hands, staff offered no assistance for First Aid other than offer my partner a first aid kit, when asked for an incident / hazard report they did not understand what they were. Management need to review there Policies and Proedures and internal training before they can consider marketing Villa Cha Cha as a creditable Resort. In the meantime, my partner attended to my immediate medical needs and I will try and seek local medical attention if I can find a doctor.

Looks nothing like the photos the place is under going renovations it’s an old motel you can’t swim at the beach as there is rocks and boulders everywhere It is quite, Ao nang beach is the place to swim which is a 10 min drive from the hotel the good thing about the area is the island tours without these tours the place would be boring

Was a lovely spot to enjoy some relaxing time by the pools, food was great, drinks were nice. Comfy bed, view from our room. Also close to the piers for getting to different islands and tours.

I chose this hotel because it was in a more secluded area. I glad I did, it was quite and serene. They offer a free shuttle to the downtown area which is super convenient. The welcoming/reception staff are just great, especially Pond. The restaurant in the hotel offers a varoety of food. The hotel is beachfront, but please note that when it is low tide.

The picture in the website for the outside didn’t match the reality, staff was lovely and capable. But the room and bathroom we were staying were poorly design for the long stay I would say. Bathroom door couldn’t close and toilet position was awkwardly place as long with the shower. The surrounding from the beach and along the street ( not footpath for now but they are working on it) and unfortunately lots of lots of rubbish laying around.

I feel like the people at villa chacha were amazing. My only problem was I was not originally given the room I had paid for which they corrected after the second night and it wasn’t their fault I was charged twice when everybody else was charged in my group and was given a room that was way in the back and I had centipedes falling on my head in the middle of the night so I would write this place as perfect except stay away from room 316 I don’t think they had used it in a while and the room in front of it was just a storage area after two nights I was given the room. I thought I was getting I would just suggest booking directly because sorry Expedia booking all of them charge way more and if you find a price online and you call them, they will match it. I was literally paying twice what my friends were paying.

This hotel is beautifully landscaped with flora and fauna It is seated right on the seafront Unfortunately you cannot swim in the sea there but there are pools and plenty of sun lounges The hotel is about 5km from Ao Nang beach with the hotel providing a free shuttle to and fro this area A special mention to the chef at the breakfast egg station for his cheery disposition and welcome in the morning- an important aspect of hospitality Would recommend this hotel as away from noisy Ao Nang and consequently very relaxing

Read whole review!! This property is beautiful. The room is nice, but beds are extremely hard and uncomfortable. Beware if you rent the scooters! We did and the person who rented it to us did not speak English, we signed nothing. My mom unfortunately, got in a minor accident. It was a very scary experience as they demanded money on the scene and no one spoke English to walk us through it. They ended up transporting my mom to the police station where the police officers continuously laughed at her and spoke again no English so we just sat there until I had to drive around Thailand to money currencies to get money to pay off the three parties for them to release my mother. The staff from the hotel that arrived at the rude and unhelpful literally yelled at me because she didn’t understand me. Please beware that there is no liability on the hotel if you rent a scooter and if something happens, they demand cash on the spot or they do not release you. These things should be explained to the renter. Overall, it was a very scary experience. The hotel staff did not care at all when I tried to explain it to them

Worst ever check in experience - We arrived at the hotel on 31 Dec 2024 at around 9 am from airport. The check-in time is 2 pm, so we requested for an early check-in if possible. The receptionist advised us that she will notify us once the room was ready. We wandered around the hotel in the meantime and at around 1 pm, we came back to the reception area. The receptionist advised that the room was still not ready so we sat at the sofa in front of the reception as we were already exhausted. We waited till 2 pm and approached the reception and were then told that the room was ready. When we finally arrived at our room, we found cleaning staff in our room advising us that the room was not ready and that it will take another 20 minutes to clean. They informed us that they had been advised to clean the room just few minutes ago by the reception. On-top of that when we inquired about some local things to pass time in the morning at the reception, the girls at Reception were rude and unhelpful with standard response "I don't know". The two rude girls then kept mumbling to each other in their language, while we are standing in front of them. We were the first to arrive that morning and the room could have definitely been made ready before the normal checkin time or atleast by the usual 2 pm checkin time, as we were told by the cleaners that there had been many early check outs that day. No apology by the rude reception staff. Definitely never recommending this place ever again!
