Charming old stone mill with the smell of fresh baked dough (in this case pizza dough) overlooking a babbling river. Great little spot at little falls.

Beautiful town- a herkimer DIAMOND!

This Inn is AMAZING. Tucked away in a small courtyard, it is a welcoming oasis with a cute creek beside it. the staff is totally warm and they treat you like family. there is a kitchen with goodies and a wonderful breakfast to boot. I will come again, just to enjoy the charm of this place. I went for the baseball hall of fame and it was fantastic!

Little falls is a great town to wander around and view the architecture of a bygone era. Choices are limited but with a little hunting you can find them. The inn was a good stopover beds were good got woken a couple of times with trains but you cant escape that if you stay in this town. The breakfast was adequate and has good coffee.

Awesome

A great find. A beautiful old building and well kept interior with appropriate upgrades in bathroom. Very comfy bed and pillows, quiet and friendly. Fun evening at the restaurant across the street with the locals. Will make it a point to stay here when next in the area!

Needs an update but would stay again

Nice place, it is dated but a nice place to stay for the weekend. Walls are indeed very thin but no real complaints. Only gripe would be that it needs updating. Continental breakfast has great selection of fruits, yogurts, bagels and breads. Would definitely stay again

Very smooth check in, and a hands off approach to inn-keeping. Our room had a river view and looked across to some picturesque old buildings. We had a wonderful dinner just across the street at the Canal Side Inn and found a small festival going on in the small park in front of the Inn when we came out. Comfy and quiet room in a unique location, definitely a winner!

We loved the location of the property and the history of the old mill building. The room was clean and we liked the snacks and breakfast that were put out. What could be improved upon is the signage and furnishings in the room. The first sign you see at the entry is for the UPS store, it should be for the Inn and once you are in it is a bit confusing having to look for where the rooms are for the Inn. The bed was comfortable in our room but it was awkward only having one chair to sit in. Additional artwork would be nice in the rooms.

The Amazing Inn

My girlfriend and I wanted a unique, clean place to stay while taking a trip to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. After researching hotels within an hour of Cooperstown, I decided to give The Inn At Stone Mill in Little Falls a try. I couldn't have been happier with my choice. The town of Little Falls is a quiet, serene area, and was a nice escape from our busy daily life. Before we came, we planned on spending most of our time in Cooperstown, but by the end of the trip, we ended up spending the majority of the time exploring Little Falls. There are plenty of places to walk and bike ride, and the surrounding restaurants, all within walking distance, were excellent. As for the Inn itself, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We were offered numerous amenities during our stay and they also gave numerous suggestions on what to see and do. The room was spacious and clean and we were able to relax and spend our evenings and nights in comfort. I normally don't post any reviews on any site, but after suggesting The Inn at Stone Mill and Little Falls to family and friends after my return, I figured I should also post on here. To the staff of the inn, and all the locals we encountered on our trip, thanks for everything. I look forward to coming back soon!

Wonderful cozy Inn. The employees and the manager are super friendly, thoughtful and helpful with whatever you need. My wife and I had a wonderful time and were very comfortable. Beautiful right on the Mohawk River. The room we stayed in had a living room a bedroom and a full bath with tub and stall shower with River views. Fantastic experience. This is our second stay here over the last few years I will be back again as we are up here looking for our own house in Little Falls. We came up here from Long Island New York.

Pleasantly surprised!

I booked this place more than a year ago and was a little skeptical upon exiting the freeway, but the stay was awesome. We were able to do our own laundry, the homemade breakfast was tasty and we got a kick out of thr uneven floor in our room.

Not for light sleepers

Nice boutique hotel in a former mill. Very different experience from any other hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Basically there is no staff on premises between 5 pm and 8 am. We got a text with a code to get in the front and instructions to take the elevator to the 3rd floor. There was a front desk with no one there and a room key with our name on it In the morning housekeeping staff appeared and a nice young woman was at the desk. The room was nice enough. Queen size bed was too small for two but there was a very comfortable recliner that I slept in. We could hear everything that the people in the next room were saying as well as very loud footsteps in the hallway. There was also a very loud train that passed by all night The topper was a horrible WAAH- WAAH noise coming from the fridge when it cycled on. Thankfully I had earplugs and white noise machine. Full time access to the kitchen and drinks was nice. continental Breakfast was not worth bothering with but we found a nice diner in town. Oh the ice machine also wasn’t working.

Stone mill

We went for a wedding. The room was beautiful. We were informed how to get in and how to get in touch with someone if we had a question because most of the time no one was at the desk. When we did have a question they responded right away. It was a beautiful place and the breakfast was very nice.

Nice view in a quiet little town.

We loved this place, it was different than a regular hotel. The view from the old mill building was very pretty with the water flowing down below. Everything inside the room was nice and we had lots of room. My only complaint was that we could hear right through the wall where our bed was. The people next to us were talking and we could hear them clearly as we were trying to fall asleep. Then in the morning, we were awakened to the same talking before we were ready to get up. Otherwise it was good. There was a little musty smell as well.
