The staff seem disinterested. Not the usual cheerful greetings one gets at other Fijian resorts. The only cheerful people were the two water sports men….James and Scobie. …and one waitress. There should be some sort of transport to get people up the hill to the top level. Very expensive for what is offered.

Nice place, but needs work

This was a beautiful location. The views were amazing. The beach was more of a gravel and not sandy. Swimming was ok, but make sure you wear water shoes as there was rocks and coral all over the place that could cut your feet. The rooms were very nice, but the walls were paper thin and we could hear the person in the adjoining room snore all night. The sound of the TV and talking could be heard in the neighbouring room too. It would be nice if there were stairs from the rooms down to the beach area as the road is difficult to walk due to rocks. The food was very good size portions, but most meals were below average in quality. The staff were good to deal with throughout the resort.

The property is not being maintained as it should be. We were provided with only a bottle of complimentary water when it said two should have been provided, had to ask for one more ourselves. The rubbish bin lid in the room was broken. The door latch of the door onto the deck from the room was broken so couldn't even keep that door open to enjoy the breeze from the beach. Swimming pool was filthy with lot of sand and debris at the bottom of the pool

This hotel is extremely deceitful. They are literally in the middle of nowhere. 2.5 hours from the airport, absolutely nothing around, no activities or excursions offered by the hotel to my knowledge. They don't have any wifi or paying internet of any sort, there's no beach to walk along or where to put a towel, the swimming pool was full of kids from morning to evening who were not even guests from the hotel. I arrived on December 31st with an awful migraine and the staff had a party until 3 am with loud music. When I complained the next day all I got was "I know". No apology, nothing. I was not informed of that party nor invited!!! I didn't have hot water in the shower on the 1st and 3rd day. I had to complain several times for them to fix it. Breakfast is only white bread toast and corn flakes, watermelon and disgusting coffee or tea. I ordered scrambled eggs that were not even good (how can you go wrong with eggs?) and decided to starve for the rest of the stay rather than paying for a disappointing dinner. I must say, however, that the rooms are nice, spacious and cosy but with nothing to do I left after 2 days. I was promised a refund I never got, this has been my worst experience on holiday ever!

Views from room are great, staff are friendly especially the restaurant staff. We booked 2 x luxury rooms but they could only find one booking, after showing our confirmation the receptionist agreed to put us in 2 rooms but not the ones we booked as supposedly they only have 1 of those rooms, but online h the inventory was for 2 rooms, seems like an issue with rooms inventory management or overbooking in place by hotel creating hassle and no obvious procedures to mitigate them. After 1 hour of checking in, we were advised they found our second booking and we need to pay $400 extra, when advised to provide us the rooms we had booked, were advised they are unable to do so. We were asked to move to another 2 rooms next door, which was not the ideal situation when you have kids and unpacked. Will not fault the receptionist as she was taking instructions from manager, who was not onsite. There were cockroaches in the room and balcony. The redeeming part was the staff at restaurant who were really friendly.

This was a lovely discovery for us in Rakiraki area. Beautiful beachside location, friendly service. Looks like a great place to have a wedding, appears to have event facilities like a marquee on the beach. We were treated to a great dinner, complimentary boat ride and fish feeding. We're only there overnight. Wish we had stayed for three to enjoy at a leisurely pace.

It's a fairly new resort that is trying its best to please it's guests while looking after the local flora and fauna. It's doing its best to become eco friendly.

It is a beautiful property on the hillside with great view of the bay and nice landscaping which was well maintained. Unfortunately for a beach resort the worst part was the beach, it consists of broken up gray coral pebbles, making getting into the water quite painful. The room itself was nice, with a nice terrace overlooking the bay. Luckily there was nobody in the room next to us but all rooms are basically duplex villas and they are not sound proof so when the cleaners were in the adjacent room it sounded like an army marching there. The restaurant was actually excellent, everything was made fresh and the staff was very friendly.

Got to the property after a long day around 8pm and was told by reception that I had no booking, even though I had paid for it 3 months prior to the stay. I had to find Expedia itinerary number and using this. they managed to find my booking and gave us a villa however it was dirty, it had no plates, bowls or utensils to enable us to have dinner. The main issue that was not negotiable was the fire alarm was sitting inside a cupboard and not fitted to the ceiling. The wiring / connection to the TV as just handing off the wall and look rather dangerous. I will never stay here again and will never recommend this place to anyone. The only positive for Dua Dua was the person who was at the reception.
