Convenient location within walking distance to the Acropolis site, and only two blocks away from Subway red line, making easy connection to other lines, like blue to/from airport.

Breakfast is fantastic. Best food healthy lot of options The first room they gave has smile. The had charged us additional that we did not know when we booked. They said it is government tax. In addition most of stuffs they donot english language. This mske it heard to communication. Stuffs are not as hood as other hotel to guild about the tou8 attraction are. In addiotin jotel foes not have tour guide.

Nice hotel in a good location in Athens. Two blocks to the metro station. 10 minute walk to the acropolis or one metro stop and Syntagma square is two metro stops. Looks like it has been updated somewhat recently. The shower has a rain head with good pressure. Bed was good but the only negative I can think of is that the sheets and blanket are very stiff and not soft. The elevator is cute and small but we were on first floor so no need to use it. The girl working the front desk was super nice and helpful. Breakfast is good and has decent variety and some traditional Greek dishes.

Okay hotel for very reasonable price

Okay hotel for a good price. Very big and good breakfast and very clean rooms. Comfy beds and pillows. The shower was old and you couldn’t get the shower handle fastened high up. Bad water pressure and the water went from ice cold to burning hot to ice cold again, all the time. We were on 5th floor. The location is perfect in a very good and safe area. Supermarket very close and a few minutes from Metro station. I could definitely stay here again. The guy at the reception desk and the woman at the breakfast room were so nice and service minded.

Hotel was located only 10 min walking distance from the Acropolis. Their breakfast selection was absolutely fantastic. We arrived late night so we were starving but there is a 24 hours bakery 2 min from the hotel. Overall great service , location and food.

Very affordable hotel close to Acropolis and all the attractions of Athens. After a long trans-Atlantic flight and missed connection, the bed seemed very comfortable. Room was small, but in line with many European hotels. Bathroom was modern. Breakfast buffet was excellent.

This was a great location for everything with nearby subway and nearby walk to sites like the acropolis. Michael at the desk was very helpful with directions. Cleanliness over the top. Breakfast daily before 10:30 am. This is the place to stay in Athens!

very nice staff especially the gentleman. has a good location to shopping and all the tourist attractions. if you want to take the metro, bus or cab, everything is very convenient. located on a VERY busy street so it does get noisy especially if your balcony faces the street. but the balcony doors have noise cancellation so that definitely does help. very nice breakfast. would definitely return.

The worst experience ever! don't consider.

This is the worst experience ever. The hotel is based in "not so great" neighborhood, on a main very noisy road. Half of the rooms are facing the noisy street. If you close the balcony doors and use earplugs it could be bearable. You have to close the bathroom as you hear any use of toilet of your neighbors. But the real challenge is that you can't control the air condition from the room and this forces you to open the balcony door - then you're doomed. Syngrou staff control the air condition for you, and the lie about it. The first reception lady asked which temperature we wanted, and said "no problem, I'll set it". Then at 1am we woke up sweating, no air in the room at balcony door had to be closed. We went to the receptionist (different person, night shift) that said they can not really control it and there's nothing he could do about it (again, lie). We asked to change rooms, we asked to turn the air-condition, we asked to talk to a manager, but nothing... Then we escalated to hotels.com at 1am and had a sleepless night trying to find another hotel. We finally did. In the process, Syngrou did open the air condition for a few minutes and then turned it off again. After a sleepless night, we moved to a different hotel. The hotel seem to have great marketing as grades are great. If you look closely, you can find several google reviews with similar experience about staff that would lie to you, noise, air con... don't fall for a good grade. Check it, I would say avoid it.
