Great Location

Stephanie was very helpful. Called me to let me know my room was ready so got an early check in. Room had been recently renovated. Very clean. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom small but sufficient. The location is the real winner here. Steps away from Okanagan Beach and restaurants. Unfortunate the only window in the room faced the parking lot and walkway so couldn’t have the curtains open as people could easily see inside. The common area with firetables overlooking the lake was a great space. They needed this area as there is no outdoor space to sit outside your room.

Great suite with a kitchen and a living room area. Easy access with a code to the suite. I am okay that the housekeeping doesnt come during a short stay, but I would have appreciated a simple broom and a dust pan available in the suite because kids are messy. They have communal-use patio space that faces the lake, which was very nice. Well-renovated and well-equipped! We will gladly return! Prime location, for going to the beach multiple times daily!!

Great, clean, quiet hotel. Lacks parking. Parking stalls are not very big and there isn’t enough spots to park. Had to park way down the alley and come out through the night to check on truck. They don’t require a parking pass to stay at this motel so it appears ppl park there that are not staying at the hotel.

First Time in Penticton - Family of 4

Overall, extremely happy with our stay. The location is of course amazing and the second floor sitting area is great to relax and look out at the beach/water. Staff were very friendly and rooms were nicely updated and clean. The reason this review wasn't a full 5 stars is because of a few things. 1) When we entered out room it smelt quite musty. The bathroom was where it was worst. But we opened the windows and aired out the room. 2) The outlets on the back wall (bedroom and bathroom) only worked if the light switch was on. This was inconvenient for charging tech in the bedroom in the night. There were other outlets to use of course. 3) Bedroom door and bathroom door could not be shut. This may have been due to thw wood expanding from the moisture so the door doesn't fit. We pulled them closed lightly enough so they were shut but not stuck. Those things aside, we would book this hotel again next time we come out to Penticton.

n room, good size even with king size bed. My only issue was the lack of light, a floor lamp might help that. Maybe add a picture to the wall as well. Can’t beat the location and the proximity to the beach and several restaurants next door and along the beach front. Would stay again.

Okanagan Lake Resort - Location and Clean!

Very clean facility. It is older and somewhat worn, as you would expect. The location is perfect!! Steps from the beach and great food. The convenience of the location is excellent. Not having to fight for parking along the beach to amazing. Great value for the price. Friendly staff.

Beachfront; appeared recently renovated and painted; sparce regarding furniture; another 1 -2 chairs would have been nice; NEEDS bathroom & kitchen fans and over kitchen sink lighting; great access to laundry facilities; needs complimentary ice machine on premises; a few more kitchen utensils would have been nice, including non stick frypan; designated parking would be appreciated!! Especially with the current rental rate!

The staff were lovely! Very kind and attentive! Location is nice and close to some really great dining areas, the beach and a few sightseeing locations. The electronic check in/check out option was extremely convenient and made it easy to get settled right away into the room. The rooms themselves had some great amenities such as a decent kitchen and full sized fridge for our convenience (we only stayed one night but if you're planning for longer and/or with a small family, this was a huge plus!) For two people, this was a spacious room. Very cozy! Parking was free! Later in the evening it was harder to find a parking spot as a few other hotel guests parked over the lines or in multiple spots. Plenty of spots other wise. There were some really great sitting areas with access to some beautiful BBQ's for the guests convenience! The only problems we experienced were the Queen sized bed being quite uncomfortable/hard and the sheets were quite stiff and abrasive. (Personal preference!)(Pillows were amazing though!) There's no fan in the bedroom or bathroom so the air can get quite stale unless you leave the windows open. There is AC in the living room though! The walls are quite thin too so we could hear the guests next to us being quite loud and disruptive throughout the entire morning. If you're a light sleeper, I would recommend ear plugs just in case.
