This is my favorite place to stay. I have been staying here since the early 2000s and have stayed at least 10 times (if not more). The Inn is beautifully and meticulously restored keeping with the time-period of the building but adding modern conveniences such as excellent water pressure, comfortable beds, and many other amenities. The owners are so warm and welcoming. I recommend the Mercantile Inn to everyone I know.

The location was perfect - quiet and clean, making it an ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Our room was truly amazing and beautifully decorated. We felt right at home! Downtown, we enjoyed some fantastic food at the local restaurants. Our waitress (unfortunately, I've forgotten her name) was incredibly helpful and attentive. However, two staff members truly made our stay exceptional: Darlene and Stacy. Darlene went above and beyond to ensure our stay was remarkable, and Stacy's coffee shop downstairs served up an amazing breakfast! We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

Beautiful old 1890's building in mountain town. Kitchen down the hall had hot drinks available. Surprised to find no hair dryer in the room. Should have packed mine. Nice toiletries in the bathroom. TV had no signal, but it may be due to the weather. Woke up to snow in the morning, so we left without trying the breakfast. Sign in the cafe listed $12 for hotel guests.
