Great People

It’s a lovely place to stay, close to the airport. Aviation enthusiasts will love it, you can watch the planes from the rooftop terrace. There’s a small bar, and dinner is also available. The new owners are very friendly and accommodating, and will provide airport transfers on request. The rooms are functional and very clean. I wish the new owners every success with their new venture.

Richard and Katy are very friendly and helpful owners. My room was clean and comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was very good. The rooftop terrace is very good location for watching aircraft. An excellent bed and breakfast and my friend and I agreed that we would definitely stay again.

Nice spacious clean room. Easy to get to by bus from the airport. Not many amenities in the immediate area but Carrizal is a 10 minute walk. It’s a small town not a tourist area so prices are keen and there are lots of bars etc. As it’s more traditional restaurants open at 19:30. Worth a visit. The hosts are welcoming and attentive and the breakfast was plentiful. Would return. M

Airplane Spotting B&B

I wanted to be closed to the Runway 03 in Las Palmas Airport to make good line up and landing shots of various airplanes. This B&B is perfect for that, because only in 10 mins walking you reach the spotting place on a little hill. The owners are very kind and helpful. Kathy cook also a very nice curryrice dinner for me and the room is very big and quiet. In the morning is breakfast ready by help yourself. A shuttle can be booked also in advance. The house has a special terrace to relax and see the airplanes too. Thank you very much for the nice stay Richard and Kathy, I will come again for sure.

Fantastic stay at Rickaty Lodge. Indeed we had booked one night juste before our very early departure from Las Palmas Airport, and this B&B just was super convenient for its location and calm. Rick and Katy are very lovely and made sure we were feeling very well during our short stay. Thank you both for being so understanding for we arrived late and asked for the shuttle service at 5.30am. I strongly recommend!!

Perfect in every way. Richard and Katy went above and beyond my expectations in looking after me. Spotless clean room, great breakfast, super-efficient transfers - to and from the airport and a pick up from the local beach - good evening meal and the bar / roof terrace is a great place to unwind.
