When we requested that someone carry the luggage they obliged but after a grumpy response. The next morning we complained and got complementary breakfast. The lift was out of action, which seemed to have been for more than a day or so. Although the room had a nice corner window the floor was squeaky walking in it and throughout the night you could hear those above you as they moved around. Stains on the carpet. The bathroom was also awkward where you walked in and had to be an acrobat around the door. Perhaps it was just unlucky…… it was room 303.

The bathroom door was warped and would not close The shower head needed a good clean only worked from 3 outlets on shower head water went all over floor when you turned it on and left running to get hot room very small for twin nowhere to put clothes as such Beds moved about if you sat on them and neither were comfortable Put clothes or no chair in room bed side lights had to be turned off from by door not next to bed Bed moved about if you sat on it Won’t be going there again appalling considering paid £225 for that one night

O.K. the hotel itself offers excellent value for money right in the heart of the city with easy transport links ,two tube stations within a 10 minute walk . Stacks of decent restaurants in the area . Only one or two very minor gripes ,air con would be nice and a bar in the hotel would be welcome apart from this just book it with confidence.
