Such a cute Inn. Our room was clean and had a separate sitting area. Be forewarned, there is a narrow staircase to the rooms. The location was nice, we walked to restaurants and shops.

The place is lovely! Very comfortable and right on the edge of downtown so everything is an easy walk away. Easy drive to Hudson River mansions and the Culinary Institute. Great coffee and and a water cooler. Plenty of places to sit both in and out with wonderfull gardens.

Not your typical B&B. Very old house and quite charming but quirky which is ok as we like quirky. The grounds are a small haven for wildlife with plenty of birds and even a resident rabbit! It is a non contact inn so you do not ever meet with the innkeepers; nor is a full breakfast provided other than coffee and croissants. This was fine with us, just a heads up for those wanting a different experience. We would stay there again.

I had a wonderful evening at the Gables. If you like a B&B style this a great place to stay. I felt like a guest at a friend’s beautiful home, but peacefully unbothered of course. The people who run it are courteous and lovely. Top marks, hope to return soon.

Quiet overnight stay in shabby chic house converted to Inn. Comfortable bed & linens. Small TV in corner of room by ceiling. Large tub, but jets did not work. Coffee & fresh croissants for breakfast. Innkeepers kindly stored my bag for the day while I walked around. Thankful & grateful.
