Good hotel, needs food options like a cafe or a grab and go. Room was stuffy but we were given a fan. Parking was a bit far, had to drag suitcases up a hill.

The rooms were smaller than expected, but they were clean, comfortable, and centrally located. The staff was greater than exceptional. They were accommodating to two weary travelers, and more than helpful in getting transfers and tickets. A very special shoutout to Nina!

Room was very clean. Unfortunately, the sockets were far away from the bed. So it was difficult to charge your phone especially when you have a bunk bed. Staff was friendly, but I asked one member of staff to book a cab for us for our d next day trip. Jimmy didn't do it, that's good that my daughter asked me to check again to be insure. Was a bit disappointed!

Google maps led us to the backside of the building where the office is to check in but we eventually figured it out. We were staying in a room at the end of the building. There were 4 adults so it was a bit tight with a queen bed and pull out couch. But it was nice the pull out couch was already made up. We were only staying there for one night but any longer than that may have been a bit tight. The location couldn’t have been any better especially at that price point. The staff was nice and it felt safe with the swipe cards needing to access the building, elevator and room. We would stay here again especially if there were just 2 of us.

Renovations ongoing, but did not bother us. Great location, on bus/tram route with stop right outside the door! Princes street 5 mins walk, pubs and eateries a stones throw away. Susie on reception was very pleasant, welcoming and helpful, would definitely stay here again! (Although my husband complained there were no complementary biscuits!😁).

Stayed for three nights with a friend. We had booked a room with bunk beds but were initially given a double room with a fold-out bed, which was quite uncomfortable. It seemed that some rooms were closed due to water damage. However, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and really did their best to make up for the inconvenience. We were able to switch to the room we originally booked for the last two nights. The hotel and room were basic, but the staff were absolutely lovely! I just wished they had let us known about the room so that we could perhaps have looked for some other accommodation as this was my first real holiday away from the children (and looking forward to a good night's sleep)

Seems they were undergoing some sort of construction during our stat. They had a make shift lobby on a stairwell. WiFi was out our entire trip which was very frusterating coming from out of country and relying in WiFi services at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful! Room was pretty decent. Shower was a little small and dingy but overall a pretty average place to stay in the heart if Edinburgh
