The day was OK, but when I go to leave, they kept my deposit for me smoking in the room because there is a light on the windowsill that wasn’t even mine and was very rude about how they were telling me that I was not getting my deposit.

Trash on the floor of our room upon check in. Some old cream in the fridge on the shelves. The whole place seems like they got about 50% through a renovation and then stopped. I wasn't looking for much, especially for the good price, but when there's trash on the floor and grime in every corner of the room, no can do.

The Hotel was in renovation, without my knowing and WiFi was open sourced, making it unsecured. The shower knob was missing so had to take a bath or body wash instead!! Ice machines were inoperable, had to go downstairs to get management to fill the bucket. Only good was the Bed being very comfortable and room was satisfactory.

NO BUGS. Which is a super important feature of low cost motel rooms. Property was clean and tidy. Things you should know: NO MAID SERVICE.Just ask for tp, towels or coffee NO BREAKFAST. Plenty of places walkable, tho Room was clean and quiet, except one night, and the desk help did ask them to turn it down. Phone in room was broken, had to walk down to complain. Twice. Over all, a positive experience. Staff was friendly, helpful, and competent. I will be returning here in the future if I have need of a place to stay in Louisville

So there was a mishap from Expedia and the hotel, on their screen it showed I canceled my reservation but I never did and on my phone I still had my booking, the man did nothing to help my case but to charge me the rates they had for the weekend… other than that the facility is okay, room was somewhat clean

An old Days Inn with a weather torn Econolodge banner falling off sign. Half the rooms had furniture piled outside. Inside pool drained and in disarray. Windows all had sticking stuff on borders. Staff more concerned about 100 security deposits than the fact the place looks like a joke. Lobby had zero helpful pamphlets. Coffee maker in room leaked and microwave sketchy. only two channels available on Tv remote. overall a cheap hotel that was still overpriced. would NEVER have booked a room in sight. lucky they got my 92 dollars. ownership has no pride. When I booked this hotel in February 2024 for my stay in September 2024, I called and inquired about the status of their "remodel". I was told everything, including the pool would be finished. The hotel was not remodeled, the rooms look nothing like the photos. The floor in our room was so dirty and sticky we had to have shoes on at all times. No ice makers worked, one was partially disassembled. The only vending machines by the lobby were empty or had expired product in them. The "breakfast area" was filled with boxes that were dusty and had obviously been there a long time. The lobby was bare and unwelcoming. The water completely stopped working while I was in the shower the first morning there. When I called the desk employees claimed it was a main water line shut down and had no ETA on when it would be back. Yet no notice was given and the water was back on later that morning. There was what looked to be people living in their cars in the parking lot. The outer doors were propped open even after dark. Leaving the building unsecured. The condition and experience here is what I would expect of a facility charging half of what I paid. I'm extremely disappointed in my stay, the facility for misleading visitors, and Expedia for having them listed through their website.

Complicated

We arrived very late night. No light , therefore, we had a little trouble finding it. The outside gave us a big scare. Looks like a local. However, we were off a 9 hour drive it's 2 am we were tired. I went in and ask could I see my room first.... Immediately, a language barrier! Very frustrating. He still checked me in have me the key..I said I'm not signing until I see the room..I still don't think he understood me. I went to check the room which was located inside and not outside yes they have both..( it's changing from Days inn to Econo). The room was pleasant. Somewhat clean, except white spots on carpet..I decided we would just stay n find another room in morning. I go and sign try to explain just for a night .. No comprehension... My hubby tried to turn heat on wasn't working..I dare try to talk to front desk again until I was refreshed... I got in my hands and needs and discovered it was unplugged. I plugged it in..it came in but smelled like it hadn't been used in a good while.. Ok. Next morning, tried to check out, a different guy, ( still no English). Thank God another one came out and explained because I had booked through third party he couldn't refund me. He was very nice and apologized. We're stuck here ( my thoughts). The bed n pillows are super comfy, no breakfast , lobby small and not very inviting. The sign has Days inn half torn and hanging and plastic that says Econo lodge beneath it.. my card case said days in, the card had choice symbol..wifi sucks.
