The Horton is an absolutely wonderful historic hotel with a gorgeous wood paneled bar, New Orleans style courtyard with a fountain/wrought iron and fairy lights, lots of historic photos and treasures, large rooms with fireplaces and bay windows and super thoughtful & friendly staff. And it’s just an over a blck from the children’s park and waterfront! We hope to return soon.

The location is perfect for the Gaslamp Quarter, including the convention center and other attractions. The hotel is really beautiful, and nicely decorated. I will be using this hotel whenever I need to go to a conference in San Diego from now on. I found out that they are also OK with cats, so next time I will bring my family.
