It sad when an elegant and vibrant hotel loses its stature. The Grand Bay as it is now called used to be one of The premier hotels on the San Mateo Peninsula. That time has passed. The staff was pleasant and courteous. However, only one person working check in on a Saturday afternoon? C’mon! The rooms are worn, water pressure weak, and that’s a shame. It will be my las last stay there!
