THEY CANCELED ON US LAST MINUTE! They then gave us conflicting answers saying we’d be able to check in a day late, the next day they said our whole reservation was cancelled! We came to celebrate 2 kids birthdays and for spring break. Best hotel we've ever stayed at. Tons of things for kids to do. Three kids ages 12, 9 and 6 and our kids loved the indoor pool area. The kids never once said they were bored. We will definitely be coming back once we can swim outdoors too!

Can’t give a good review since I was unable to check in after a 13hr drive. Only thing is they didn’t call me in advance to let me know they couldn’t check people in after the outage went out. The room was small. One of the aueen size beds had full size sheets. We had to ask them to change it. The tub/shower had black stuff falling into it from the wall. The staff was unfriendly. They weren’t rude they just weren’t helpful and seemed like they’d rather not have to deal with customers. The only friendly staff member I found was the lady at the desk when we checked out. The food was bad. The service at Granny Cluckets was even worse. We sat at the table 30 minutes before our server walked by to tell us she would be with us in a little bit. Fifteen minutes later she finally came to take our order. When we got our food we were missing some items. No one apologized for the long wait. No one apologized for us missing part of our order. The manager said they could comp our meal, but I bought breakfast passes on their website and we were using those. The manager said she couldn’t give us back our money because we bought the passes online. I don’t understand that because it was Country Cascades website that I used to buy the passes. The pizza tasted like frozen pizza. We never tried out the “waterpark”. It was very small and too crowded. The hotel was in a good location. That’s about the only positive thing I can say about our stay.

My son had a great time at the indoor water park. The room was comfortable and clean but there was no microwave, no coffee maker, and no complimentary coffee in the lobby. The have a coffee shop and it must be purchased. Also, if you don’t do online check in by 11 am they will charge you $50 to check in at 3 instead of 4. Most hotels will let you check in early if your room is available. The drink machines were $4 for a soda. The restaurants were nice on site but had long wait times. Personally I don’t think I’ll stay there again for the reasons listed.
