Lovely stay in cockermouth. Hotel was fab, booked very last minute but all in order when we arrived. Small but well thought out room. Its an old building so not all clean lines etc but they've done well with what the space they have. Excellent veggie breakfast the next day. Staff all very pleasant and friendly, particularly the Scottish lady. Would definitely stay again. Great value for money for a bank holiday.

Great value for money. Friendly staff during check in, clean good sized room (we stayed in a small double atic window) tvs had smart tv features like netflix. The bed was very comfy and good toiletries in the en suite. Fantastic location, right on the main street of Cockermouth and free parking at the hotel. Lovely quiet stay. Would definitely stay agon.

Really friendly staff throughout our stay and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is warm, cosy and comfortable with great parking facilities and is convenient for the shops in the town centre. Breakfast was of a very high standard, plenty to eat and delicious. We also booked an evening meal which was the highlight of our stay - we thoroughly recommend the dining experience. Many thanks to Cain, who looked after us in the bar and all the staff who were all very hard working, but extremely pleasant throughout. Wishing all at the Manor House a very Merry Christmas and we look forward to staying with you again in 2024.
