Echt een heel bijzonder hotel. Mooi ingericht met oog voor detail. De kamer was netjes. Wij hadden een kamer op dr begane grond, vanuit de kamer kon je achter naar buiten alwaar een zitje was. Ontbijt keurig verzorgd. Het bed was wat hobbelig. Dineren kan prima in het dorpje. Wel 1,5 km de berg op. Lopen kan prima (wel een stuk zonder stoep).

Was advertised it had charger but was apparently broken. I got promised I would at least be able to plug into wall socket which I did but when I woke up I see they had removed the cable in the evening so the car had not charged at all which caused huge problems. Not happy

Central: In the middle of Serra da Estrela Park. The staff is very friendly and is always caring about the stay. The room and the breakfast are nice. The view from the hotel is very cool. L’accueil du réceptionniste très froid et sans aucun sourire, répond au téléphone pendant le Check - in alors qu’il aurait dû mettre en attente son interlocuteur. Il était précisé sur le site que le personnel parlait français... ce n’était pas le cas avec ce Monsieur ; heureusement sa collège , bien plus sympathique, fît de beaux efforts pour nous renseigner. Concernant l’établissement rien à redire très belle architecture de même que pour la chambre , bonne literie et bel équipement sanitaire. Dans la sdb manque éventuellement une boîte de mouchoirs et pour Madame un miroir grossissant. Belle décoration dans les couloirs et dans le salon commun

Clean, modern, very quiet & tranquil position. Close to town with amazing views. Good breakfast and helpful staff. Loved that all soft furnishing were made from wool from the woollen mill. Would have liked coffee & tea making facilities in room. Also might be a nice idea to have some sun lounges on the roof & not just metal table & chairs.
