We were very disappointed with our stay. During our stay, we saw multiple roaches crawling on the walls and even a spider on the floor. We ended up sleeping with the bathroom light on so we could watch for bugs, which made it impossible to relax.
Noise was another major issue. The upstairs’ occupants was so loud that we hardly slept. The AC was set to 60 but never cooled below ~75, making the room uncomfortable. While there were signs of updates, the overall condition didn’t meet expectations. The leftover sock we found in the room was also concerning and suggests housekeeping isn’t doing thorough checks.
One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was because it advertised breakfast, but it was extremely disappointing. The selection consisted of the tiniest yogurt cups, about three apples, a few slices of plain white sandwich bread, and what looked like a questionable DIY waffle mix. It was nowhere near a real breakfast, and we ended up having to go into town to buy food instead.
On the positive side, there were plenty of pillows, which we appreciated. Still, the basics of a hotel stay should include a bug-free, clean, and quiet room with working air conditioning. Unfortunately, this property fell short, and we would not stay here again.
