The room was clean, smelled clean too. The beds were so comfortable. There is a fridge, microwave, tv. My daughter and I traveled for a concert and stayed one night. The location is perfect if you’re going to a show at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. It’s less than a mile and walking back at 1030pm felt overall safe. We felt safe in the hotel too and the other guests were really quiet so no complaints. Staff was so kind and helpful!

Conveniently located, clean rooms.

We stayed at the Rodeway Inn for one night, drove into town for a wedding and the venue was conveniently a 10-minute walk so that's why we chose this location. Love that it's attached to the Pavillion's grocery store, made it easy to walk over for some refreshments. The room was clean, check in was easy and we paid for parking which was worth it for the convenience and it was gated so that was a nice piece of mind. The only critique we had was the light sensors, they were kind of annoying, especially in the bathroom. The lights turn off pretty quickly, so if you're showering, applying makeup or sitting on the toilet the lights turn off right away, but not a huge deal, just annoying.

The rooms are clean and the staff is attentive. Parking is in a secure location and it's close to grocery stores restaurants and attractions. Looks way better on the inside than from the street. The price is fair compared to the other expensive hotels near by

Inspite of the old building the rooms have been renovated and are not only comfortable but also well equipied. Maintenance in electricity is required and but overall it was nice.

We had a pleasant stay. Room was in good condition and the place was one of the cleanest inns we stayed at during out stay in California. This visit exceeded our expectations. Also the staff was helpful when the laundry room dryer malfunctioned, and took care of our laundry in the middle of the night. I recommend.

This is a great place to stay, within walking distance of the Pantages Theater. The gated parking lot is very secure and reasonable ($15). The rooms are bright, beautiful and clean. Priya was very kind and welcoming. I will come here again!!!

The rooms are renovated and clean. The Laundry machine just needs upgrades and also needs a coin machine. The Wi-Fi signal is slow and on and off. The elevator hopefully soon be fixed It is hard to go up and down carrying your luggage etc. But other than excellent for me.

Clean and updated rooms, a little over-priced

The room I had was on the small size, but it was clean and had been remodeled fairly recently. This is a no-frills, bare bones kind of hotel, but it was close to where I wanted to be so it worked out. There is no pool and the center court is all paved. They do have a sort of breakfast, coffee and small bagels and simple pastry. I don't know how it would be to be for sound on the Vine side of the hotel, but I was not and the room was quiet. They do have parking inside a fenced area. My only complaint would be it seemed overpriced for what it is and where it is.

Automatic lights in our room (109) kept turning on and off at random. The bathroom lights would turn off in the middle of a shower, plunging me into darkness. The same bathroom lights turned on at random several times an hour DAY AND NIGHT. I reported the problem the next morning, but it was never fixed. The second night we finally got up at midnight (after getting out of bed to turn the lights off 5 times in 2 hours) and removed the faulty switch from the wall, disconnecting the live wires. I reported the problem the next morning for the second time. We were gone all day, came back late afternoon, it still wasn't fixed so we packed up and left a day early exhausted from lack of sleep. Some office staff were nice, a couple of them were terribly rude. There is also the world's loudest ice machine in the courtyard that can be clearly heard roaring day and night throughout the building. Yes, roaring. I've never heard anything like it. The rooms are actually very nice, but our carpet smelled of urine, so there are cleaning issues. Fridge, microwave, safe and coffee maker we're all in like new condition. Bed and pillows were comfortable and clean. The room was a good size, the bathroom was really nice, clean with a big shower. But it was hard to appreciate all of the good qualities of this hotel with all of the lights randomly coming on and going off and the unresponsiveness of the front desk staff.
