We stayed three nights at Ibis Styles Gloucester after abandoning our reservation at the EasyHotel at Lexham Gardens. The Ibis was close by and reasonable. We were very pleasantly surprised. From the moment you enter you are greeted warmly and sincerely by the young staff and quickly assigned your room. Coffee and beverages are available in the large comfortable lobby. I would take off 1/2 star for the room size, but for the price I wouldn't. It is a bit of a tight fit. The bathroom and shower was great. You can also open the window for fresh air. We really enjoyed our stay, and given the location it's an all round winner.

The room was a very good size for a small family in a great location. The bed was quite hard so may not be comfortable for everyone. We made good use of the nespresso coffee machine. Quite a lot of traffic noise at night. Would've been great if there had a been a mini fridge in the room so we could keep milk for our little one.

I like the interiors. Customer Service is great, very helpful staff. Most of all breakfast spread is fantastic! The establishment is very clean and orderly, and i love the interior of the room, the lobby, the breakfast area. Special mention is EVA, the lady the staff assigned at the breakfast area. It was a nice place to stay as we had to visit French consulate nearby so very handy. Also opposite Gloucester Road tube station and Waitrose opposite side of road. Could leave our luggage there for the day which was really helpful. Decor theme was London Underground so had quirky carpet, fixings, pictures etc. Was in room 301 which was quiet and near to the lift.

This is a good spot if you need a simple place to crash in London. It's a bit expensive given the tiny room size, but it was clean and convenient to the Tube. There is a Waitrose across the street and many dining options in short walking distance. It would be nice if the 20-somethings that are working the "desk" in the lobby were a bit friendlier.
