Stayed in the Deluxe room in the new part of the hotel. The room was very clean and spacious, including a king-size bed with very comfortable mattress. However, the pillows and duvet were bit flat and not the usual standard you’d expect in a 4 star hotel. Bathrobes, slippers and conditioner would have been nice additional touches as well. The staff at the reception were amazing and made us feel very welcome. Warm and easygoing, but still very respectful. True stars in their profession!

The staff was very friendly and helpful with all of our questions. Location is close to University of Hertfordshire, shopping and bus stop to St. Albans. Room was spotless and comfortable. No coffee in the room. Just tea and cookies. Highly recommend this lovely hotel.
