Classy but not pretentious, it perfectly balances upscale amentities with a down to earth personality that is unique to Philadelphia. The exterior architecture and interior decor is stunning, the rooms are thoughtful and spotless, and the staff is friendly, helpful, and professional. From the vast public spaces throughout the hotel to the exceptional tilework in the bathrooms, there is always something to appreciate. In addition, the guest access to the Sporting Club takes this experience to a whole other level.

The hotel was lovely and very clean. The location was great- lots of stuff was within walking distance. The elevators are very slow and breakfast was very problematic- there was a long wait and then there was literally no food. They said they would bring more but we waited over 45 minutes for them to bring food out. They did have gluten free bread, which was a nice surprise, but it took about 40 minutes to get it.

The hotel is beautiful. The beds are comfortable and rooms are quite large. We were in room 1726 that opens to courtyard which is wonderful but that and the placement and choice of light fixtures makes the room quite dark. It’s quite difficult to get ready (make up/shaving)

The Bellevue was excellent for our stay. The Sporting Club that’s available for hotel guests to use has everything you’d need in a health club and more. The hotel is quiet and located in walking distance to several shops and restaurants. Hotel staff was friendly and the XIX restaurant within the hotel was a delightful experience.
