The front desk employees were super nice. I could tell they did some upgrades to the room, like new furniture, beds, TV and mirror in the bathroom, which were very nice, but the carpet needs replacing and the wallpaper was coming off the walls.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and actually had 4 towels in a 2Q room. Hand soap had a musky smell that would be triggering to folks with allergies. The body soap in the shower was much better. Dorm fridge didn’t have little freezer compartment. Could hear doors in hallway closing without earplugs in. Not a ton of parking spaces. Nice back patio to eat breakfast on, or to hang out on.

We stopped here overnight to see Mt. Rushmore on a cross country trip and ended up booking another night here just to stay longer. Hotel was perfect, so clean and felt safe and just 15 minutes to Mt. Rushmore. Amenities were wonderful, breakfast was great, and the town it's located in is now one of our favorite places! There is a beautiful bike trail, walking distance to so many shops and restaurants as well. This was just supposed to be a pit stop in the night for us and is now the highlight of our trip. Thank you everyone we will be back!

Ok stay

Hotel appeared updated and clean with exception of stairway & pool/hot tub. We did not use the pool or hot tub because of this which was disappointing. Location is great but parking is tight. Breakfast is average but area is kept clean & stocked. Beds were comfortable but pillows are too big/puffy & pillow cases do not cover them. No elevator in case that’s an issue.

The hotel was in a great location, with many amenities and restaurants nearby. For hikers and cyclist, the backside of the hotel has the Mickleson Trail that runs alongside it, for easy access. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only concern was a fresh red stain on the carpet and a couple of nerf darts left behind on the floor. Overall it had a good selection of breakfast food and a nice area to enjoy the mountainside to relax.

Picked the apartment due to needing more space. It was spacious. Pull out couch was kind of uncomfortable, bathroom didn’t have a fan and seemed to have water damage and gnats flying around. Loves that breakfast offered, hot dishes were cold though except for the make your own waffles. Staff was nice and helpful.
