The rooms are dated and not the cleanest. There was a stain on the sheets, but it was really late and didn’t feel like messing with the skeleton crew. Didn’t expect much because it is a 2 star hotel.

The pool was closed for repairs and nothing online showed that. I should have asked when we checked in but I smelled the pool chemicals in the lobby so I just assumed it was open. We checked in and passed the pool on the way to the room and it was closed. The room was nice enough. However the room was not clean. There was a fake fingernail and a French fry in the floor by the bed. The bedding had a few stains on it. We just needed somewhere to stay on the way to the beach and this was a good stopping point that had decent reviews. It served its purpose but we would not stay here again.

The room was very nice, as were the workout facilities. Was a little disappointed that the pool was not in working order, but overall a good stay. The staff was amazing and so friendly.

The walls are super thin, and you can literally hear everything the people in the neighboring room are saying. The smoke detector was missing in the room; I have photos for proof. The breakfast is trash; orange juice came out tasting like water. Who even eats banana muffins? The a/c system made all types of loud noises throughout the night. The door had to be forced shut. The rugs throughout the hotel looked like they haven’t been vacuumed for ages. This hotel made Marriott look horrible. I’ve stayed at Fairfield Inns during many trips and never had this type of experience.

I booked thru Hotels.com and paid in advance. I arrived at 11:15pm with my 3 kids after traveling 7 hours and the front desk person informed me they had no rooms available. I asked how this could happen with a paid reservation and why she had checked the people in ahead of us that clearly did not have a reservation if they had no rooms available. She began to explain to me that Marriott gives priority to Marriott members over people that book through third parties or walk-ins. She also told me they prioritize reservations made weeks & months ahead over ones made only a few days ahead of time ( mine was made 3 days prior). Her only help she initially offered was giving me the # to call hotels.com. She never apologized, showed any empathy nor offered any kind of help in finding us somewhere else to stay. After an hour haggling with hotels.com, it was now almost 1am, I asked if she could call around to nearby hotels to see if they had availability as I was on the phone and booking online wasn’t an option since it was after midnight. She did make a few phone calls and told me there was a room available for twice what I paid for their hotel. I asked if she thought it was fair for me to have to pay twice as much for a room when they were the ones that had made the mistake. I said “I did nothing wrong and I’m incredibly inconvenienc yet I have to pay double? She just shrugged. I had my daughter call around and found a room 1/2 mile away for the same price I’d paid so we went there

The hotel was overbooked, i was very disappointed, i was driving for 5 hours to going to the hotel. That day i was wake up at 3 am to do a lot of work, I show up at the hotel like 8 pm when I found the hotel was overbooked. Thank God the lady in the front desk make magic. Because another customer call to cancel 🙏 otherwise I don't know what to do, i was with my mother and my little princess. I was very pi***** after waiting almost 30 minutes for her to found a room for us.
The need more personal, the lady in the front desk was working alone, she fixed our bed, to much work for one person.
