First time staying in a downstairs room At this location, and had the pleasure of experiencing a pack of morons upstairs who were either intentionally making loud noises Between 5 AM, and 6:30 AM…. Or just absolutely oblivious to the fact that other humans exist. Was very surprised how much sound traveled between the floors

Everything was really nice. Room was comfortable. Hot breakfast, not just cereal and bagels. Restaurant next door was great! Only complaint is the shower water took a long time to heat up and there were green/brown flakes of something that came up the drain in the sink.

Have not stayed here for several years. It has improved a lot since our last visit! Excellent reception employees. Hotel is now surrounded with a well designed and pleasant looking security fence. New paint. The hallway has new carpet and light fixtures which much improves the ambiance. Although these rooms are not fancy, nor do they have carpeting, they have freshened up the decor and they are clean. Excellent value for the cost as well. Will be staying here in the future while in the Arcata area from now on, as the location is central and very convenient to hwy 101.

Nice but not great

First of all when I got inside the room, there is a big cloth lounge chair that obviously the housekeepers did not vacuum. I sat down on it and came up with dog hair all over my clothes. The room itself was cleaned, but not properly there was dust on the other two chairs and on the floor under the desk. The bathroom door squeaked when you open and closed it very loudly Plus the queen size bed was very very comfortable, but it was on a king size bed frame, which was kind of awkward the staff was super friendly and nice. It’s just very old furniture inside.

Great Place for a Night of Rest.

This location is a great place if you just need a pretty clean place to stay for a night or two. The employees are friendly and offer great service. The Nordic bike in the gym didn’t connect to the WiFi and the the water dispenser didn’t work.

It was a great location for us since we were dropping my son off to Humboldt. Staff is really nice and accommodating. Rooms are spacious and clean. Parking lot is small a bit weird layout but good enough.

Okay stay. Good breakfast.

The staff are friendly. The fireplace in the room was comfortable. The mattress was good. The pillow gave me a neck ache because of the lumpy filling. There was mildew on the bathroom wall next to the mirrior, which we wiped off with Clorox wipes from the front desk. The room was nice in size and layout. There was a slight perfume smell that i didnt like. The breakfast was the best part with sausage, eggs and waffles. Overall, this motel can level up with the freshness of the experience. It wasn’t at Ramada levels when we stayed over.
