I stayed at the hotel for 1 night, since I would not be able to make a train back home after a concert. The person on check in was polite enough. However, I was unpleasantly surprised to be asked for a £50 deposit. I had no forewarning of this. The staff mentioned something about it being held in case of damage. I have stayed at higher end places and have NEVER been asked for this, so I was taken aback. I didn't have time to argue though since I needed to travel to my concert.
I didn't have time for breakfast so I cannot comment on the dining facilities or bar.
The inclusive boat ferry pass is useful, but it could use some later hours for the weekend, since after midnight if you miss the last ferry you may be faced with having to navigate a fair walk from Canada Water.
The shower was lovely. The bed was incredibly comfy. The fast wireless phone charger was great. However, the room seemed oddly arranged. The fast charger was fixed to the desk far from the bed. There was not a night stand, meaning I had to walk to the other side of the room when I woke up to turn my alarm off. Not an easy feat for someone who wears glasses.
I am not sure if the inconveniences are enough to tell people to stay away. But I would hesitate to stay there again.
