It is a beautifully restored old building with nice cozy rooms with wood floors. It’s in a busy part of downtown with lots of restaurants, attractions, and entertainment venues nearby. The only downside is the premium on off street overnight parking but I realize it’s downtown St. Paul and is what it is. The hotel front desk staff was excellent, efficient, and very courteous. I just wished I didn’t have to leave early to get ahead of the blizzard because I could t experience the bar and small plate restaurant offerings

What a wonderful surprise when checking into this quaint and unique hotel that was formally a convent. Staff was super nice, rooms were clean, bathroom chic and bed was so comfortable. The complimentary breakfast in the former chapel was such a fun experience. The original artwork and photos are a nice touch of the former residents.

I loved this hotel. Great vibe, great staff, great location. My only issue is that the water pressure in the shower was maybe the worst I’ve ever experienced. Difficult to get clean. Difficult to get wet, frankly.

The stay was overall very nice, comfy bed, wonderful unique room and property, great for a night away. The only downside was the staff and communication. We felt like check in was not warm, friendly or informative. We ended up googling to try and figure out what was going on with the bar (almost missed getting drinks and did miss getting food) and were confused about parking. We would have liked to explore the property more but felt limited with the information that was given to us. The front desk staff gave us a feeling that our presence was a hassle for them, both at check out and check in. We wish that they had more information in the room about amenities and the property. With a unique hotel we were expecting something a little different from staff and overall experience. But overall very cool place!

The room was incredibly clean. The $65 dollar deposit threw me, however. I didnt see any mention of it before.

We stayed in a room on the bottom floor. The heat in the room was either on or off. So at one point the temperature of the room was 57 degrees and at another point it was in the 80's. We called the front desk (which we did on our cell phone, because there is no phone in the room) and asked if we could adjust the heat. We were told that it was an old building and there was no adjusting it. If we wanted to cool down the room we could open the windows. Our windows were on the ground floor and we could see people walking outside and it was 18 degrees outside. I asked to talk to a manager and was told that they would call me, they never did. We were also disappointed with the breakfast, they ran out of warm food while we were there. On a positive note, the rooms were very clean and it was in a good location near the Grand Casino Arena.

Stay was good. Breakfast is alright nothing special but it’s free and that’s good. There is no microwave in the room and there is no laundry on site. It’s great for a one or two night stay - definitely not good for an extended stay though. Overall it’s a nice hotel with awesome decor and history.
