Way too much noise

Comfortable bed, clean room, nice shower. Noisy throughout the night until past 5 in the morning. TV on loud in another room, people talking in the breeze way completely disrupted my sleep.

Nothing but issues

Upon first arrival we were excited-the room was very clean, the bed was very clean, and the shower looked nice. After that it was issue after issue. • The TV remote did not work -this was due to the previous guest damaging the TV and breaking the sensor-they sent maintenance to replace the TV • The replacement TV had never been set up on the WiFi so we couldn’t use the new TV without getting a pop-up to set up the WiFi-but we only had the satellite remote which did not control anything on the TV except power and volume (maintenance did come fix this while we were out of the room while he was there working on another issue) • There was no trash can in the room anywhere - we ended up asking for a trash bag from the front desk to put our trash in • The toilet was not flushing, maintenance had to come twice to fix it and then he tried to blame us saying we were putting too much paper in it (again, no trash can, where were we supposed to put it prior to getting a trash bag) • There was one towel for a family of 3. Saturday morning I asked the front desk clerk (in person because the phone in the room was connected to nothing). After a while we had no more towels so my husband went down to request more towels. We waited a while longer and they still hadn’t brought them so we left for about 4 hours. Still no towels when we came back. My husband happened to pass the housekeeper in the hall and asked for more towels. She brought them immediately. We will not be coming back.

A Great Value For A Clean Comfortable Hotel

This reeked of too good to be true. We got two rooms for what we usually pay for one and with the other positive reviews we figured we would try it out. Overall we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were small but very clean. They were short-staffed (according to the person who checked us in they were at capacity the night before and having trouble getting all of the rooms cleaned quickly enough) and our 2nd room wasn't ready when we got there. It wasn't an issue since it was ready after we had dinner. Of our entire 10-day trip this was the best shower of all!! A TON of water pressure and just so relaxing. The beds and pillows were soft and comfortable. They even had free breakfast (standard hotel fare but it was a full offering and free). There is a pool but it wasn't open yet (it was a bit too early for that on our trip). This is a simple, straight-forward no-frills hotel but we'd definitely stay here again.

Serenity Stay

I had never booked a Serenity Stay hotel--but based on the high reviews, I tried it. The room had a weird smell (like human urine) and when I asked for a different room, there wasn't one. The breakfast was "okay" not a great deal of variety offered. Had to ask for clean towels and wash clothes, just not the best experience I have ever had.

Remember this is a low cost hotel.

This is an older hotel that has been remodeled. The gentleman at check-in was very friendly. It made that experience easy. However, when we got to the room, we noticed makeup on the comforter of one of the beds because we were so tired, we just didn't use the comforter on that bed. It looks as though the comforters themselves aren't cleaned very often. They definitely need to do better with cleaning of bed linens. Having said that, everything else seemed clean. The shower stall had been, recently renovated and was very nice.

We were skeptical because of the other reviews but listen you’re not gonna get Hampton rooms at best western prices. This place was budget friendly and was actually super nice the staff was friendly. I would stay here again.

Great place, nice staff, lovely rooms

Everything was great! The room was clean, and you the bathroom was lovely. The staff was accommodating and kind, especially the front desk lady over the weekend. The breakfast in the morning was good, and the lady who put it together did a great job. Our only complaint was the sink in the bathroom was clogged in some way (the water wouldnt drain for HOURS) and it was not ever fully addressed during our stay. But it was a minimal problem.

The lobby was clean and the staff were friendly. The outside of the property was noticeably run down compared to the surrounding hotels. The room was newly remodeled and quite nice. However, the bedspread and some of the towels had stains. They appeared to be clean, but because of the stains it was hard to be comfortable in the room. The entrance to the room was from outside rather than an interior type hotel. The door was secured by deadbolt, but it did not completely fit the frame, so there was a slight gap between the door and frame. The weather was good, so I didn’t have to worry about extreme cold or heat regarding the slight gap. I did sleep with a light on due to the gap and concerns regarding security since I traveled alone for this trip.

Overnight trip

Prime location but a little dirty.

It’s in a prime location. The breakfast was decent. Our only issue is that we had to switch rooms twice due to everything being used/dirty in one room, horrible smoke smell in the second room and when we finally got into the third room, we were too tired to complain. The man at the front desk was understanding and continued until we were satisfied.
