Nice enough, but nothing special. A couple of little things made it 4 stars not 5- we only had one towel between two of us, the water pressure from the tap was very poor, the lights seemed to not be working all fully, and we couldn’t seem to turn the extractor fan off completely! But the bed was comfy enough and the room was clean. The room was also quiet, we had no road noise.

The staff were exceptional, especially the receptionist and the night porter (tall bald man, I wish I had asked his name). The only let down was the lack of a cooked breakfast in the morning due to the chef not being able to get in, these things happen I understand, just a shame.

The room was spotless and clean but it was the smallest room we have ever stayed in and we could hear noises from the other rooms such as the shower and noises above. Having a mirror on the dressing table would make a huge difference when putting on make up and doing hair etc.
