The grounds are beautiful and location very convenient for Tikal and some shopping. The staff is very helpful, especially the wait staff. They were most pleasant and friendly. My 8 year old granddaughter played in the pool, played giant checkers and learned to play pool. We were able to get adjoining rooms which enhanced our family vacation.

I was very happy with this hotel from the first step in the door. It looked like I was heading into the jungle, then they told me that they have a private beach which after checking out is awesome. The staff was so helpful in arranging transportation to/from the airport, and in planning a guided trip to Tikal. One couple in our group said it was the loveliest place she had ever stayed. We appreciated the pool, the hot tub, and the on-site restaurant and bar. This is a perfect place to stay if you are short on time, want to visit Tikal (much closer than Flores itself), and want a lovely place on the lake.
