Really enjoyed a stay in Lough Inagh Lodge in March '26 and we were lucky with the weather to enjoy the lovely scenery of Connemara. The hotel staff are very pleasant and helpful and the food is of a very high standard. A truly relaxing place and well recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay with this wonderful hospitality team. Yes, the lodge is in the middle of nowhere but that’s the point. Plenty to do in the countryside or within 15 minutes drive, and wonderful food awaits you upon returning. Not sure we’ll ever make it back, but encourage you to spend at least one if your Connemara nights by the cozy fires at the Lach Inach Lodge.

Fabulous stay

My mom and our two dogs stayed at Lough Inagh Lodge for two nights and had a beautiful time. It’s an extremely well-run and comfortable lodge. Great location. One morning we walked down to the lough in the early light to take in the view and that was glorious. The restaurant and bar offered great food options so we didn’t have to be on the roads at night. And the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Mobile coverage is quite spotty but that was perfect for us (and their wifi worked great). For fellow dog people: dogs are allowed in the common areas other than the bar and restaurant and our girls had a great stay.

Unbelievable view from our window...breathtaking. Service from the whole team was very friendly. Absolutely loved our stay. The only criticism was the noise of the hardwood floor in the dinning room. We stayed directly above it and the noise of chairs being dragged over it and waiters&guests walking on it did make it difficult to unwind in the morning and evening. That being said I wouldn't have changed rooms because of the view. Would absolutely stay again. Fantastic location, excellent service, felt very welcome at the property.

This hotel is in a beautiful, quiet location overlooking a lake. The hotel is nice enough, and the staff is very kind and friendly, and eager to please. I just think it needs to be modernized. I’m sure many guests like to feel like they are stepping back in time, but everything was getting too dated. It kind of feels like going to grandma’s house. I also think it would be nice if there were some walking paths, kayaks or canoes to use. It has a lot of potential with some TLC. that’s just my personal opinion.

Fabulous visit! A welcome and relaxing way to end our first day in Ireland. After travel and an afternoon at Kylemore Abbey we enjoyed a fabulous dinner and a comfortable, peaceful night. Breakfast was “Irish Hospitality “ and top notch. We ended our visit with a walk around the grounds and we’re sorry we weren’t able to spend a second night. Highly recommend!!

This property is in a uniquely gorgeous and secluded place. We were honestly floored driving to the property with the natural beauty. The room was spacious and clean. Beautiful lodge situated across from a lake! Loved my stay here. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Connemara area. Room was spacious with a nice sitting area and dinner was exceptional. Best kept secret in the Connemara

The hotel is just amazing. The rooms are lovely decorated and spacious. The hotel feels so cosy with all the open fire places. We really enjoyed our stay. A huge thank you to all the staff. I felt like a celebrity or dignitary staying here- the room was beyond amazing! The food was exemplary! My favorite, however, was the fresh squeezed orange juice in the morning- simply wonderful AND they make a mean cup of coffee! The staff were so kind and accommodating- thank you Michael, Veronica and Tom! The views of the lake and 12 Bens was right outside my window and spectacular! I will be back!
