Our stay was extremely unpleasant. Arriving at the hotel on Friday August 11 at 10 pm, we were faced with a one-hour wait for check-in due to a power outage. Once we finally completed the check-in process, the front desk attendant gave us 5 minutes to decide whether we wanted to change rooms due to their conditions.
Upon entering our room, we immediately noticed extensive mold on the curtains and a pervasive musty odor making it hard to breathe. Our discomfort intensified as we discovered cockroaches scurrying about. The bed was unsightly, marked with stains and even dog paw prints. To make matters worse, the room lacked essential amenities like toilet paper and shower towels, and the bathroom was unclean and the door didn’t even lock
Attempting to address our concerns, we sought assistance from the hotel staff. We found them in the back of the hotel, hanging out with the people that live in the hotel doing god knows what. Returning to the front desk, we encountered a helpful man who facilitated our check-out for the following day, as it had already passed midnight.
In the morning, I approached the front desk in search of clean towels, as we were informed they would be available. However, the receptionist was brusque and informed me that no towels were available, and telling me to check out if i wanted.
