The rooms were decent sized, lovely inn with friendly staff I would recommend people going if they’re staying for a few days. The only thing is the cleanliness the bathroom had some hair it looked like and also the door handles were falling off on the doors. But overall a good stay and slept well.

The wifi wasn’t working, but it was well connected to the city center. They let us make a late checkin (because of our late flight), and our surprised wss that they have karaoke night (at least during the weekend), was so nice to take there a beer (quite more cheap than in the center city) while listening to people singing good songs. Just to add, the staff was really nice.

The mattress was extremely uncomfortable—it felt like sleeping directly on the springs. The mattresses definitely need to be replaced. There should also be a waste bin in the room. Additionally, the shower was leaking. Overall, a disappointing experience.

Accommodation was absolutely horrible. I paid for double room and they provide me tiny twin room with broken mirror on the wall. Looked more like prison cell than hotel room. When I ask to get double room which I paid for lady at the bar told me she didn't allocate the rooms and don't have any other available. It was impossible to park a car nearby and I have to park 10 minutes away from hotel. Nothing was right in there. I left this place and booked other accommodation as I didn't want to stay in this horrible conditions. Would recommend to avoid this place.

Absolutely great stay… called after booking to ask about check in as we were at an event in town and would be there before check in and maybe late back… could not fault the response from Brian and his team… absolutely superb service. Rooms are functional and represented excellent value for money. Breakfast was freshly cooked and lovely. If you are after a no frills excellent value for money stay with friendly landlord then you won’t go far wrong.

Room was clean, bed was comfy. Doors banging all night. My door banged and rattled anytime someone in another room slammed their door. This happened all through the night and my door rattled so hard i thought someone was trying to get in. As a woman on my own it was scary at first. Area is horrendous..dirty, busy,main road. Had to park 5 minute walk away down a dodgy street. In all honesty, i was worried about leaving my car there and although i contemplated leaving early in the morning, i didnt want to walk there alone in the dark . Wouldnt stay again

great hotel, 5 dads and lads (5 year olds) made the kids feel welcome, gave them flags, let them play on pool table etc. pubs decent, fairly big. rooms fairly basic but comfy, just what you need for a one night stay. we got uber to and from villa park, £5 for 4 seater ew. only negative is the area around the hotel possibly not the nicest spot and when we stayed there no private parking so have to park on the road and it fairly busy so we had to park a fair way from the hotel

Rooms need some TLC. Shabby decor and window doesn’t shut properly so loud road noise can be heard all night. A drinking glass provided would be nice. But worst of all - the music from the pub is so loud, the bass can be properly heard from the bedroom, and continues until at least 11pm/midnight.
